My name is Lynn Hiten. I am 76 years old. I was born in 1933, and reborn in 1952, into my new life. My creator did not stick around, so as a new born I went wild.. but was stopped shortly after my tirade started by the Voltori, they did not kill me because of my unique gift, the ability to paralyze with a look, much like Jane and Alec's abilitys. The Voltori took me in because of my gift, and used my abilitys along with the rest of the guard to eradicate the warring ones in the south. After a few decades I left the Voltori to explore the world, and see what else there was to see in the world, particularly in America, my birthplace. I am currently trying out the "vegitarian" diet of animal blood, but I'm not having much success, as my thirst typically gets the better of me.

I typically wear glasses or sun glasses as props, since I do not have the nice golden eyes of the vegetarian vampires.... I've been out of the human world since America's great depression, but my red irises... and my thirst.. keep me from interacting
with humans very much...

My Decent Into Darkness

I was born during the great depression (1933) and turned shortly after WWII (1952) was over. I was 19. I was homeless, having lost my only family to the war... My father died over seas, and my mother died of grief. Soon after she died in 1946, the home I had grown up in was taken by the banks (foreclosed) and I was sent to an orphanage. I disliked life there so I ran away, and became homeless. I had been homeless for several years, when I was turned. I was in an alley way, wandering around, looking for a place to stay warm, when I was attacked from behind. The vampire bit deep into my neck, and I felt the burning venom begin to spread immediately. I screamed and my attacker was gone in an instant and I was left to burn in the alleyway. I am not sure what transpired in the 3 days of my burning, but when I found the burning had stopped, I found myself in a shack. An old woman came in with something in her hands.... my throat burned as it never had before and I attacked her with newborn thirst. I killed everyone in the household and fled, ashamed of what I had done. I soon found the thirst burned on, and every time I found a human, I also found I could not resist the pull of their blood. Soon after my tirade began, it was ended; the Voltori found me. They spared me, however, because of my unique gift of paralyzation, which I never knew I had until it was brought to my attention by the Voltori. Up until then, i had figured that all vampires could paralyze their prey like I could. I soon found I could paralyze anything I wished, humans and vampires alike. After a few decades I left the Voltori, and went to explore the world, North America in particular.
